We are approaching the top of my list of favourite Ukrainian words, and today it is time for place 6 – 4. The words of today also fit together thematically, even though it isn’t by intent. But, without further ado, here is the list
6 – мрія (Mriya)
On place six we find the Ukrainian word for “dream”. I like the softness of it, it sounds a bit ethereal, just like a dream.
5 – зірка (Zirka)
Зірка is a word with a bit of a shimmer to it. The combination of sounds make it sparkle. Which is fitting, considering it means “star”.
4 – серце (Sertse)
This is another word that, for me, sounds a bit like a name. It is a bit regal and wise. And it means “heart”
